DJI AIR 3 and AIR 3S - Drone Label / Drone Tag

For the compact and small drone DJI AIR 3 and AIR 3S with a weight of 720g / 724g  (above 250 gram) a drone tag / drone label is required in several countries as for example in Germany. Despite its extremly small dimensions it is possible to put 4 lines of text onto this aluminium plate. The text is laser-engraved with an industrial hightec laser.

Besides its dimensions, the weight is an outstanding highlight. Due to its very low thickness it is even possible to bend the Nano-Flex drone label slightly so it can be adopted to nearly all drone surfaces - even to curved once. The corners of the Nano-Flex Plaque are rounded and the borders extremly clean and straight.

The self-adhersive backside (3M high quality doublesided duct-tape) allows an easy and plug&play installation.

Although this quadcopter is very compact, there are several options of how and where to mount the drone label plaque. The label sticker can be placed at the back side or at the rear propeller arm (see pictures below). These self-adhersive address labels made of aluminium can be put at different positions very easy, fast and durable. The small dimensions and lightweight design do not influence the drone, battery live or flight property at all. Also no influence of the speed and precision of the drone

each line of the font is less than 1 millimeter high and the complete name shorter than 10 millimiters!

DJI Innovations recommends to mount our lable / aluminium plate at the back of the drone. We recommend to mount it there as well or at the outer side of the rear propeller arm of the DJI Mavic AIR 3 - do not mount it at the top or at the front or the front propeller arms because this might cover some sensors like GPS or the compass or the antennas for the remote contron transmission. But please doublechek with DJI for the perfekt mounting place.

The exremly small dimensions of our drone label "nano flex" offer a high fleibility in the choice of the mounting position. The following pictures do show some other installation options - but we recommend to follow the DJI recommendations as shown above:
